We went to the Dominican Republic and stayed at the Paradisus in Punta Cana. The food was amazing, the room was beautiful, the price was right and the resort was gorgeous. The only downside (which you might not mind) was the language barrier. The vacationers were mostly European and the staff could understand basic english. We loved it and didn't see it as a problem. The shows every night were entertaining, fun, and some were spectacular.
