: : Just got back-we were there from Aug9-13. It is a beautiful hotel and does not have that compound feel that the huge resorts south of playa at Playacar have. There are no long lines a buffets etc. We made our reservations at Kuartos.com with Jaime and requested an oceanview room (most of them are anyway) and we were given a great room - oceanfront. The rates were also cheaper at Kuartos. The walk to the main street in playa from the porto is only about 5 minutes. The service was great and no problems with the food-good variety.
