i returned from the palace in July. It is a very nice resort but not my favorate.lots of chairs not to worry most people hung out at the beach not the pool when we were there. as far as the entertainment i thought other resorts were better. The food was very good as long as you are not a picky eater which i'm not so i loved if my friends on the other hand wasnt crazy about the food.this resort is classier than others in pdc. If you are looking for a nice quiet place & want someone to wait on you this is the place. if you want entertainment during the day & might get a little loud definatly go else where. we went with a group this is not a party place. I would of liked it if we would of been honeymooners, retired, or if maybe it would of been just the two of us . this is just my opinion but trust me its an honest opinion. I probably will never return to the riu palace but lots of people like it there. good luck..........
