We have stayed at Allegro Playacar, Viva Maya Beach and Reef Club. We liked different things about each one. Reef Club has really neat grounds, nice pools, okay to good food. The beach is nice there, no rocks etc. You can rent bikes to ride to town. We didn't take in the entertainment at night as after you have stayed at a resort it all seems to be the same. We went into town every night and enjoyed the music and people watching. Reef Club was quieter than the other two resorts. The staff didn't come and try to drag you out of your beach chair to join the activities, but you can do activities all day if you choose. You will have a good time no matter where you stay. We felt it was a good deal for the money. Rooms have nice balconys with room enough to sit and stretch out. ANy other questions e-mail us.
