We stayed at PLG for 2 years before deciding on stayint at Summer Place Inn (a B&B about 3 blocks inland directly behind PLG. PLG is an older hotel, beautiful marble floors, nicely designed rooms all with balconies facing the ocean. We had previously stayed at PLG in Puerto Vallarta for 7 years and were amazed at the difference on the staff. PLG staff are nice, some times indifferent, but generally do their job. Not like the friendly helpful people we were used to.
The only problem I had with PLG is I am allergic to mould and had a problem with the smell in the rooms after we had been gone for the day and the cleaning lady had shut off the airconditioning while we were away. Lots of people stay at PLG and enjoy it as it is a short walk to town and they have a rally nice pool and decent snorkelling in front of the hotel. We watched the Super Bowl their in the lobby and rally enjoyed ourselves. Go and enjoy yourself and make your own decision. Chedraui the grocery store is direcly across the road, and you will have a fridge in your room so you can buy drinks and snack stuff.

: Does Plaza las Glorias have a internet homepage?

: I haven't found one, but we will be staying there 3/30 though 4/6 if I can get any info for you let me know. Reading the reviews have been scary. Ask for a foam pad to sleep on and 4th or 5th floor -- When are you going? I really don't care I'm in Denver with 4ft of snow give me Cozumel even in a bad hotel!
