BEWARE FROM BAMBA EXPERIENCE MEXICO
I want to tell you about BAMBA EXPERIENCE - Money fraud.
They have a nice web site that catch your eyes and promise you many things and to help you to save money, time ect' with cool driver and all.
Well, I booked with then 1 month in advance and paid a full price and a promise that I can change my time table as much as I want during 60 days.
First :They don’t run all the routes – many times they just give it to a local minivan or the normal ADO bus to take you – so there is NO cool driver, there is NO hop-on hop-off experience and you don’t save any money at all and by far you don’t travel with other backpackers.
If you want to change your ticket during hige seasson YOU CANT DO SO. Especially if you want to get from Oaxaca to the beach , since the minivan is all booked for days in advance.
Another thing, they take you to youth hostel that work with them so they can get commissions o something else and so on. When I asked for another hostel to drop me off they told me "WE DON’T KNOW THIS HOSTEL THAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, BUT I CAN RECOOMMEND YOU THE HOSTEL WE ARE GOING TO" it wasn't the best hostel I stayed in I can tell you that.
I asked why didn’t you tell this in advance? How come I can't change my time table?
All that I got was NO NO NO.
I asked for my money back o some kind of a refund and the manager Paul said NO.
I wont give you your money back and you have to take the minivan or the ADO buses.
After what happened I checked the www.ticketbus.com.mx web site and found out that the buses are not so expansive and there is a variety of busses and vans and its all much much cheaper and you can book it the last minute.
My opinion is NOT TO TAKE BAMBA EXPERIENCE.
It's very expansive and they don’t take you to all the places they put you on a bus o minivans.
